Mastering the Reliable Recall

Recall is the most important command your dog will ever learn. To build a reliable recall, you must make coming to you the highest-value choice your dog can make.

Start in low-distraction environments (like your hallway) and use high-value rewards. Never call your dog to punish them or do something they dislike (like a bath or leaving the park). Protect the recall word, and always set your dog up for success.
