The Importance of Early Puppy Socialization

The Importance of Early Puppy Socialization

Early socialization is the most critical step in a puppy's development. Exposing them safely to new sights, sounds, surfaces, and safe dogs between 8 and 16 weeks sets the foundation for a confident, balanced adult dog.

Without proper socialization, dogs are more likely to develop fear-based reactivity and anxiety. Start small, keep interactions positive, and never force a puppy into a situation where they show extreme fear.
